Month: February 2020
First homegrown veg of the year 🌱💚🌱 purple sprouting broccoli …. 😊
I have been making drawings in oak ink to accompany my series of linocuts in a handmade book for the @cornwall_crafts which will open on the 14th March to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the @nationaltrust at Trelissick….
My husband trying to disentangle Desmond from his gathered brambles and twigs…a daily occurrence… Saus watching and ensuring he does the job to her satisfaction ie quickly so he can get on with throwing he ball. 😂
#foraging Comfrey I have been using comfrey as a compress around an aching joint… (also as a liquid feed for plants) does anyone else use it?
Drawing and drinking nettle and ginger tea! An update on the nettles… I feel much brighter since I have been drinking my nettle tea and including them in stews…having felt a bit depleted since christmas…. #nettles #medicinalweeds #eatweeds #medicinalherbal

Here is my gorgeous Sausage now…8 years old just chillin in the sun, waiting patiently for someone to want to play…
This is another linocut for the 125 years celebration at @nttrelissick hand coloured… I am also working on an artists book for the exhibition which may include some of my preliminary oak hall ink sketches … 😊
Multi coloured magpies collage, printmaking, happy accidents…
This is my beautiful little Sausage … she is a collie cross and now 8 years old but was just 5 weeks when this was taken…she has a blue and a brown eye, someone once told me it means she is half year and half in heaven, oddly she is almost a carbon copy of a dog I had 12 years ago also a collie cross but tan and white… she was young when she died and I missed her terribly… I like to think a bit of her returned to me in Saus? However because I have had Saus from a puppy she has none of Sukies vices who was a troubled rescue dog..bless her. ❤❤❤ . . . #puppy #collie #colliecross #farmdog #myadroabledog
Happy accidents collaged together… I get really excited about these…❤
